Here are some small textural explorations that have been kicking around the studio for awhile. Not sure what if anything will happen with these, but they will probably get scanned at some point and worked into the graphic design project that is kicking off soon!
In addition to the 'oil piece' I am starting a piece that utilizes tar paper (left over from roofing the studio this fall). Right now it is going to be a subtle study in texture. Using gloss black for the imagery and text. Not sure what the theme will be or the imagery, but this one is a textural study at this point.
